How to schedule social media posts in Dari and Farsi

Most schedulers are made for English. Here's what Dari and Farsi speaking creators and businesses need, and how to schedule posts to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Telegram in their own language.

Popular social media schedulers like Buffer, Hootsuite, Later and Metricool are good tools, but they are built for English and European languages. If you run a shop in Kabul, a restaurant in Herat, a page for the Afghan community in Germany, or create content in Farsi, you quickly notice what's missing.

What Dari and Farsi creators need from a scheduler

  • A right-to-left interface in their language. Writing and checking Persian text in a left-to-right English tool is slow and error-prone.
  • The solar (Hijri Shamsi) calendar. People plan with Hamal, Sawr and Jawza in Afghanistan, or Farvardin and Ordibehesht in Iran, not only with Gregorian months.
  • Local occasions. Nowruz, Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Afghanistan's Independence Day and Yalda drive sales, and most tools made for Western markets do not plan around them.
  • Telegram. For many Afghan and Iranian businesses, a Telegram channel matters as much as Instagram. Most schedulers don't support it.
  • Captions that sound local. Dari and Iranian Farsi are different in everyday social media language. A word-for-word translation from English sounds wrong to both.

How to schedule a post in Dari or Farsi with Yekja

Yekja was built for exactly this. The whole app works in Dari/Farsi (right to left) and English.

  2. Upload once: a video, or photos for a carousel, and write one line about it.
  3. Pick your accounts and let the AI write a caption for each app: in Dari, Iranian Farsi, English or both, with the right length and hashtags for each one.
  4. Pick a date and time in the solar or Gregorian calendar, or choose a suggested best time.
  5. Done. See everything in the calendar, and the results per app later.
